This update is a little delayed due to some unforeseen medical issues Pastel is having. Thank you for your patience and support.

Hello everyone! We’re back after some much-needed recuperation. Moving forward there will be some changes to the site. The aim of our changes are less stricter deadlines on both Pastel and I so we can be more creative with the content we want to put out! From now on, our events will span an entire season with holidays interspersed in between. We want to be able to build our world in a way that makes sense rather than focusing on having a different holiday or celebration every single month.

To start things off, we’re introducing a new location, Lost Lily Isles! This tropical island is the picture perfect get-away for a fun summer vacation. Previously uninhabited, the islands jungles have yet to be tamed, but the beaches are nice and peaceful. Will your moos bask in the sunlight on the beach, or will they venture into the unknown?

To go along with our new location, we’re also introducing a new npc, Robin! She’s a lifeguard on Lost Lily and found her way there on her own, before the resort was even built! She knows this place pretty well by now, but will you be able to melt her frosty exterior to get her to tell you anything about it?

Seasonal Currency & Shop

Instead of monthly/event currency, we are switching to seasonal currency which will change every 3 months with the season. For July and August you will be able to collect a Daily Shell as well as gain them from completing Prompts. These can then be spent in the Seasonal Store!

New Pet: Cortals

These cut little critters have been added to the common gatcha pool. There's also a seasonal variety available in the seasonal shop!

Monthly Raffle

The monthly raffle is back with a Moo ready for the beach! Tickets are available in the Seasonal Shop until July 31!

Wrap Up

To end this news post, we’ve got a few words of wisdom from Robin for any would-be adventurers on Lost Lily:

“Look, just be careful, be smart, especially if you decide to go venturing into the jungle. Oh and, there’s this drunk guy who’s LARP-ing or something. Feel free to ignore him if you want to. His name’s Theros and he’s claiming to be the god of rejuvenation or some shit. Just don’t indulge him. For my sake.”

Summer has come to Verdan which means Spring seasonal potions (Glass and Flora) have cycled out of the shop, but we have two new seasonal potions for summer, Fins and Scales! Check out the Greedy Cauldron if you want to get your hands on either of these!

Due to Pastel's life getting a little hectic, she'll be taking a bit of a break from the site. As our sole artist, this means there will be no monthly currency or event in June. We hope to come back in full swing in July! We do still have our monthly prompt, which will give extra moonie, and an apology gift to claim at the Train Station of a free 2 star pet capsule, please remember to claim it before July!

May’s event store will close on June 7th at midnight EST! Please spend your flowers before it closes!

Pheromoos is currently hiring the next batch of guest artists! This will be for July, August, and September. The application will close on June 1 @ 8pm EST and guest artists will be picked by June 3.

The last season of Spring is upon Verdan and they’re sending it off with a bang. The Flowering Fair is set up in town for the entire month. There are plenty of games to play, rides to ride, food to eat, and even a stage to perform! It’s a perfect send-off for Goddess Cybele.

With Spring coming to an end, it’s time for Cybele to return to her realm. Though she loves the people of Verdan, she honors the pantheon’s traditions and only spends time in Bovine Bluffs during her season. If you were to ask her why, she’d very politely change the subject and ask you not to be sad. Summer is a season of fun and the god of Summer embodies revelry. Perhaps next season you’ll be able to get more answers…

The Flowering Fair’s event shop is up and we have a new check-in and prompts to go along with it. We also have our new monthly prompt up for May, earn some extra Moonie from it or from our spotlight prompt! This is the last month Cybele will be available to appear in prompts until next Spring and the last month to complete the Druidic training prompt until next Spring!

We’re updating our Currency Guide to be a little more clear on some points of confusion. Firstly, what a simple background and detailed background entail:

• Simple Background: A few simple elements, quickly drawn, and generally low details.
• Detailed Background: Refined and detailed with multiple elements.

Secondly, what can and cannot be submitted for Moonie rewards:

• Work made before 2024 cannot be submitted for Moonies. You're welcome to upload older artwork to the gallery, but since most old art was submitted to the old system, it cannot be used again to gain Moonies.

• Due to the nature of the site being set in the Pheromoo world of Verdan, we've made the decision that all art and written work both uploaded to the site and submitted for Moonies may only depict official Pheromoo characters.

• You are still welcome to draw/write your Pheromoo in alternate universes outside of Verdan, but those pieces cannot be submitted to the site gallery or for moonie rewards.

We hope these new guidelines will help clear up any confusion!

Were you able to find all of the eggs? Jasper has opened up a special shop where you can collect a prize! You have to have all 5 eggs in your inventory in order to enter the shop. It will be open through the end of April so plenty of time to find any particularly sneaky eggs!

“Oh hey there, you’re just in time,” a familiar voice calls out to you. Before you lies the familiar cafe, Brewed for You, along with its perennial barista, Jasper. Behind him you can see a growing crowd of Pheromoos all talking and mingling amongst one another. It seems as if moos from all walks of life are here, but there’s one constant among them; each Pheromoo has an empty basket. Confused, you look to Jasper for answers after greeting him.

“Oh this? It’s the annual egg hunt. Just a lil somethin’ I like to organize to give back to the community.” Jasper has a sheepish smile on his face. Organizing something for this amount of Pheromoos must have taken a lot of work. You smile at Jasper and ask how to participate, the moo in question hands you an empty basket.

“Well all you have to do is go around town and find all the eggs I’ve hidden. I’ve got somethin’ special for you if you find enough. Lots of local businesses worked with me for this too so be sure to look high and low for ‘em!”

Pheromoos is hosting our first annual egg hunt! There are literal easter eggs hidden all over the website in different colors and designs! But what reward could Jasper have for investigative Pheromoos?

A new month, a new holiday comes to Verdan. Bovine Bluffs is abuzz with the legends are hearsay about Trickster’s Guile! It’s a mysterious holiday tied to Goddess Cybele’s son, the Trickster God, Jack. Rumors say that failing to honor him in the festivities can lead to a haunting, but that can’t be true…surely? Will your Pheromoo press their luck and abstain from the pranks and practical jokes of the season? Or is your Pheromoo ready to become a menace to their friends? In addition to new events, we also have a new feature for you today. User shops have now been implemented! We hope this feature will make it easier for users to buy and sell items! You can create your own shop through Username > My Shop.  You can view others shops under Play > User Shops. As always with new features, please report any bugs to us either on the site or through our discord!
