Divine Research - Addison
Despite his helpful nature and desire to help with what seemed like an important task to the town's busty, potion-making resident Moo, Addison couldn't help but get a little lost. In thought, daydreams and eventually wandering through the back halls of the library. Obscure, uneasy feelings crept over the short hairs of the power button marked Moo as he stopped before a dust covered shelf lined with what seemed to be old cook books. Looking over the accompanying shelves, he quickly realised this section was filled with mismatched and oddly placed genres. From the dubious looking cookbooks before him to strange, anatomical creature books. He recognized little within the first few pages he thumbed through, quickly that feeling of unease spreading over his nervous system.
Unsure if he was just getting some odd willies from the dust mites and potential allergens building up around here, or if this place was off limits, he quickly grabbed the first cookbook he had sighted and darted back to the corner he had previously occupied. He hunkered down to peer through the curious tome, hoping for some kind of clue, code or insight to what Venessa could have been after. He wasn't sure why, but some gut feeling told him he might be on the right track. The recipes were certainly written with odd context, a mystery in every odd dish and desert tingling his need for adventure. However after only about three pages in this odd sense of Paranoia started creeping its way in. He had always been the type to think people were watching, it was part of the job usually.. but now it just made him uneasy, every passerby making him a little more unsettled in his research. He was starting to think that perhaps he should seek a more private venue when an all too familiar, purple cloud wafted into eyesight, accompanied soon thereafter by Rune.
Addison froze, getting slightly clammy handed as the pet capsule toting Moo joined him all too casually. "You've got a good sense about you.. didn't think i'd find anyone in here so soon.. if you want my advice, and you do-" he flippantly put a finger to Addison's lips to hush him, silencing any protest before it could leave the soft pink Moo's mouth. "Take that cover off, switch if for another and check out. Otherwise you might get in trouble.. I hear we're not really allowed access to that section of the library."
“You sure know a lot for having just moved here…” Addison almost pouted, his bright pink eyes hooding softly as his ears flicked.
“I pick up on a lot. You'll thank me for it later.” he assured Addison before winking and disappearing off into the library as quickly as he came. Had It not been for the instant blood rush to Addison's groin, and the uncomfortably tight fitting latex he was wearing he may have pursued.
Yet Addison managed to give himself a period to cool off, regaining his decency and quickly doing as suggested. With a now freshly re-sleeved book and his peppiest smile he was off to the librarian's counter. Pleasantries came easy, the strawberry scented Moo not at all surprised when the Librarian waved him off without so much as a second glance at his now stamped and checked out ill gotten goods. He knew it was a long shot, but at least if it was a bust it would give him an excuse to seek out Rune's advice, and if he was lucky, a little accompaniment.
